By day, Kristi is a flip-flop wearin’, troop leadin’, carpoolin’, campin’ kind of mom who is thrilled to watch her children blossom from one New England season to another.
Given a spare moment, you might find her in a yoga pose in her backyard surrounded by hens, quizzing clerks in the grocery store (for fun), or learning how to cook an unfamiliar farm veggie. Regardless of what she’s actually doing, she’s always daydreaming about the next opportunity to pack up the kids for an afternoon on the beach, an evening around a campfire, or a cross-country road trip.

By evening, Kristi delights in donning heels and inspiring others in her Choose Wiser workshops where she inspires women to be self-advocates for their own environmental health. She founded Choose Wiser, an organization dedicated to empowering women and families to become advocates for their environmental health.
In 2010, she was recognized as one of Prevention Magazine’s Picture of Health finalists and was featured on the television show, The Doctors. In 2011, Kristi was awarded the distinguished John O’ Connor Award by Clean Water Action. She has also received awards from Healthy Living Magazine as well as Greenschools, for her efforts in educating others through her dynamic workshops. Formerly from California and Washington State, she lives with her family near Boston, Massachusetts.
