Three years ago, I was the ultimate un-businesswoman. I wasn’t social-media savvy. I was somewhat technology-challenged. I was a busy mom of three young children and my “business” consisted of car pools, karate practice, and scouts. Then life took a detour.
Being diagnosed with aggressive breast cancer at age thirty-six changed my focus. With my mom-job on the line, I started on a quest to eliminate harmful chemicals from my life and environment. I wanted to share my journey with others but didn’t know where to start. My thirteen-year-old son taught me PowerPoint, and I began sharing my message with women home-party style. In a few short months, my audiences grew as word spread of my uplifting “can-do” talks and workshops.
In this empowering presentation, I’ll share my journey and all the challenges along the way. My learning curve was huge, I was fighting for my life, and yet, I was fueled with an intense sense of purpose and passion.
